We think readers deserve to know how the content on Every Room Story is made. This page explains our process, plainly.
How our content is produced
Articles on this site are produced using AI-assisted research and drafting. AI tools help us gather information, organize ideas, and produce initial drafts efficiently. Every piece of content then goes through human review before it is published — checking for accuracy, clarity, and whether it actually reflects the practical, everyday experience of decorating a small space.
We’re sharing this openly because we believe transparency about process builds more trust than pretending every article was written entirely by hand, when that’s not always the case.
How we verify information
Before publishing, we check factual claims against reliable, publicly available sources — such as manufacturer specifications, retailer product details, and established home organization resources. We aim to avoid vague or unverifiable claims (like exaggerated measurements or invented statistics).
If we’re not confident a claim is accurate, we either verify it further or leave it out.
Corrections
We’re human (with some AI assistance), and mistakes can happen. If you spot something that looks wrong or outdated, please let us know. We take corrections seriously and will update articles when needed.
Our commitment to readers
- We won’t publish claims we can’t reasonably verify
- We’ll clearly disclose affiliate relationships (see our Affiliate Disclosure)
- We’ll only describe a product as “tested” when we’ve genuinely used it ourselves (see How We Review)
- We’ll keep this page updated as our process evolves
